Thanks for taking time to visit with Two By Two. I have been with the ministry for 16 years. I enjoy singing the tenor part. With each passing year, I find I must work harder to keep the high end of my range! God has blessed my wife, Lorrie, and I with a son, Michael, and a daughter, Stephanie. We have five precious grandchildren: Kyle, Conway, Cameron, Isobel, Jackson, and Micah. They truly are a blessing sent from above! Thanks for taking the time to find out more about Two by Two! I have been blessed to be a part of the group since its inception, 24 years ago. Wow, I must be getting old. Maybe we should change our name to “Susan and the Four Grandpapas.” Can you get a group discount at “The Scooter Store?”

Seriously, the fire within me to reach people for Christ through our music is as hot today as it has ever been. Being a grandpa to Tyler and Marin, being close to celebrating 40 years of marriage to my best friend, Linda, and approaching 60 years of age, all motivate my sense of urgency about our ministry and sharing Christ. The need for our message has never been greater and though much of our time is spent “singing to the choir,” I believe the choir needs the encouragement we have to offer!

I presently share the lead/baritone parts with Steve. I am a blessed man! I am still amazed that God could take a sinner like me and use me to share His Gospel. Thanks, Lord, for Your patience and grace! I pray this website will encourage, inform and bless you. Welcome! It is a blessing to be singing with Two By Two! I have been singing gospel music for over 40 years. I am so thankful to the Lord for giving me the ability to sing His praises and allowing hearts to open to hear His Word.

I am also thankful to be celebrating nearly 50 years of marriage to Kris. We are blessed with wonderful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I pray that you have found the Lord’s redeeming love and grace! Come worship with Two By Two!

Welcome to Two By Two’s website! I have been with Two By Two since my high school years. What a privilege it has been for me to share the Gospel of our Lord through the playing of the piano. I praise God for blessing my life with the ability to communicate, through sacred music, what He has done for me!

I have been blessed in my career as a junior high special education teacher. In 2006, I was honored by the Council for Exceptional Children by being named the Special Education Teacher of the year for the state of Illinois!

I am so thankful for the Lord’s unending love and grace!! May the Lord shower you with His Blessings and Grace!!! I invite you to come worship with Two By Two. I’d love to meet you!

Thank you for visiting the Two By Two Quartet website.

God has blessed me with a second opportunity to be a part of Two By Two Ministries. After a five year sabbatical I have returned to the group as the Lead/Baritone of the group. I am one of the original charter members of the group, having served as the original tenor, then moving to baritone when Ray came to the group and offered us an opportunity to grow back to a quartet after being a trio for a period of time.

August 23, 2010, we lost our son, David, who was 23 years old and a part of Two By Two and its history. Many of you will remember him running sound for the group for everal years or as a toddler sitting in the front row with his play mic singing every word to every song. Currently, my wife, Lisa, and I reside in Mt. Sterling. I am a graduate student at Lincoln Christian Seminary where I am pursuing a master’s degree in counseling and pastoral care. I am also a grandfather. My son, Aaron, and his wife Kari blessed us with a granddaughter on Dec. 7, 2008. Lisa and I are so blessed and thankful for the blessings and challenges God has given us. I look forward to reconnecting with all the Two By Two supporters. (2 Corinthians 1:3-7)
